This season, we took the next step in our journey by visiting Milan’s largest international trade show for leather and accessories, where the world’s top manufacturers gather to showcase their finest materials.

Exploring the Heart of Italian Design

Walking through the trade show halls in Milan was an experience like no other — rows upon rows of premium Italian leathers, textiles, and hardware from the country’s most respected tanneries and workshops. Each booth told its own story of tradition and innovation.

We spent hours feeling textures, testing finishes, and studying how light played across different grains and hues. From rich burgundies and deep espresso browns to new experimental tones and sustainable materials, every sample sparked ideas for future designs.

We reviewed samples, examined stitching techniques, and even tested combinations of color and texture that blend Italian elegance with modern functionality. Each decision made during this trip will help define Cappello’s next generation of accessories — refined, durable, and distinctly ours.
